Overview

	
						Reviewed and assessed possible pain points in the checkout flow for the Shuttle Flights offering, which
had a very high drop-off rate.Facilitated design reviews and participated in daily scrum meetings, sprint grooming and sprint retrospective meetings.
Worked with the design team and other stakeholders to conceive and propose solutions for the flow
blockages, mainly through the use of flowcharts and wireframes.Helped implement the new Wheels Up style guide throughout our digital offerings.Worked closely with engineers to provide clarification when necessary and implement intended designs.

Gwynnie Bee allows customers to explore brands and collections, and then add items to their online closets. Subscribers can rent and return different articles of clothing, or buy items for less than retail price.

Overview


	Worked closely with the design team to implement the new style guide/direction throughout the entire iOS
and web platforms.

Study Outline

	GoalsUnderstand points of confusion in the subscription flow.
Identify reasons for subscription flow drop-off.Propose actionable recommendations to improve subscription flow experience and decrease drop-off rates.
	MethodologyRecruit five participants that fit the profile of the target audience.
Bring in participants on-site for moderated 1:1 user testing.60 minute study, held over three days. Mobile testing on iOS or Android. Scoped to subscription flow only.
	Collect qualitative data to understand pain points in flow.
ParticipantsFemale, dress size 10+ (ideally 14+), age 35-55.
Shops for clothes on their mobile device.Cares about fashion and brands.
	Willing to spend money on clothing that works for them (”cutting edge fashionistas and “fashion seekers”).Not currently a GB subscriber.Open to clothing subscription services.


Findings and Recommendations


	Users unanimously want to see the clothing selection before selecting a plan. Provide a way for users to browse through a wide variety of clothing choices to get a feel for the styles available BEFORE accessing the PPS page.Users have many questions about the service which hold them back from proceeding with selecting a plan. Prioritize and reposition key messaging to instill confidence in the users - specifically around shipping and cancellation, reiterating that it is a rental service.Upon completion of the subscription flow, lead the users directly into a rich experience for clothing selection. Get them started on their first rental immediately.

Trizic

	Trizic is a white label, financial services iOS application that allows clients to interact with their personal investment portfolios. Uncomplicated charts and easy-to-read tables explain clearly at a glance what is happening with a user’s finances - users can also drill down to see all of their more granular investment data. Easily transferring money in and out of accounts gives users the access they expect in this day and age, and allows for maximum control and flexibility. View account statements, trade confirmations and tax documents with a simple tap. Trizic is money made mobile.

Overview


						Provided Trizic with the branding and visual identity necessary to launch their startup. Assets provided were to be rolled out across their digital properties.

					
						Oversaw production of the iOS application and certified that all design was being implemented according to spec.Worked very closely with the founding team to discern what the MVP application was trying to achieve. From there, proposed relatively simple design solutions, involving financial data visualization, to accomplish their business goals.


						Established and maintained an iterative design process with key stakeholders to craft an intuitive interface. Communicated ideas through the use of flow charts, wireframes, and prototypes.

OverviewWorked closely with the founders of this InsurTech startup through the discovery process and assessment of MVP
requirements. Worked to simplify complex flows and requirements into concise feature sets.Worked on creating the user personas, storyboards, flowcharts and wireframes to communicate our solutions to key stakeholders. Iterated on deliverables to reflect client feedback on a bi-weekly basis.

					
Designed the interface for the most critical flows and core functionality, to be developed as the MVP.

Vision Statement
	To build an easy-to-use and intuitive platform that enables agents and brokers to
improve their workflow and efficiency during the quote intake process.To enable SMBs to quickly and easily get quotes from multiple carriers
without the hassle of filling out multiple forms.To systematically educate clients during the intake process so that their
agents and brokers can spend more time on revenue generating activities.

					
User Personas
	

						The first step in developing the ideal user experience for any product is to
understand the people who use it.

					
We begin by defining who our users are:

Characteristics: What do we know about
them?Goals: What are they trying to achieve by
using our product or service?Questions: What are some of the common
questions they have while using our product?

	Frustrations: What makes it hard for them to
achieve their goals, or answer their own
questions?
						
					
						Using all of this information about our users, I
create hypothetical representations of them, called
personas.

						During the design process way we can refer back to
these personas to ensure we’re meeting our visitors’
needs.

User Flows
	The User Flow screens represent the high-level
fundamental flow(s) contributing to the primary portal function. The creation and delivery of a quote to a small business owner.
While the broker/agent is the primary actor, the business owner and
carrier actors are needed and included to complete the cycle.

Overview

	
						Provided Infobrij with the branding and visual identity necessary to launch their startup. Assets provided were to be rolled out across their digital properties.

					
 Oversaw production of the web platform and certified that all design was being implemented according to spec.Worked very closely with the founding team to discern what the MVP application was trying to achieve. From there, proposed relatively simple design solutions, involving financial data visualization, to accomplish their business goals.

					
						Established and maintained an iterative design process with key stakeholders to craft an intuitive interface. Communicated ideas through the use of flow charts, wireframes, and prototypes.

Mattel
	
	My Mini MixieQ’s is a line of tiny collectible characters that each offer “pop and swap” play. The My Mini MixieQ's toy figures can be customized with different headpieces and bodies. This enables kids to play with the collectible toys and create their own favorite figures rather than seek out one particular model. For the digital gameplay set to accompany this toy, we transposed this functionality to mobile and also introduced original game ideas around this unique feature.

Overview

	
						Created the gameplay for Mattel’s new digital offering - the My Minie MixieQ’s game - set to coincide with
the release of their physical product, under the same name.

	
						Designed the interface of the game, the culmination of a design process that included very close
collaboration with Mattel and many rounds of wireframing and prototyping.

					
						Finalized all assets and worked closely with the game development firm in India to hand off all deliverables, and transition to the development phase of the product life cycle.

	GovInvest’s mission is to help governments solve their unfunded pension, OPEB and debt problems through unique software and simple, understandable actuarial reports. GovInvest provides value by facilitating easy communication of complex information to decision-makers and stakeholders - allowing them to understand and analyze their liabilities, and providing them with clear solutions. Overview

	
						Provided GovInvest with the branding and visual identity necessary to launch their startup. Assets provided were to be rolled out across their digital properties.

					
						Oversaw production of the web platform and certified that all design was being implemented according to spec.Worked very closely with the founding team to discern what the MVP application was trying to achieve. From there, proposed relatively simple design solutions, involving financial data visualization, to accomplish their business goals.Established and maintained an iterative design process with key stakeholders to craft an intuitive interface. Communicated ideas through the use of flow charts, wireframes, and prototypes.

	Morgan Stanley
	Financial services iOS app that allows Morgan Stanley wealth advisors to administer their client’s investments, manage their own scheduling and oversee general client wealth and transactions, all on one singular platform. The simplicity of the app allows for wealth advisors to quickly and intuitively access all features related to their daily activities. Account statements, appointments and client onboarding are all accessible in-app.


Overview

	Assessed and divided the necessary and nice-to-have product features with an internal team of former bank executives.
	Pitched a lightweight PaaS solution to key stakeholders at Morgan Stanley, based on our narrowing down of features to a critical set.&#38;nbsp;Gauged interest and feasability based on direct feedback from these stakeholders.

	
						Continued working with our internal team to gather feedback from wealth advisors and iterated on our initial MVP accordingly.
